Drinks Galore

Spring is here and summer is approaching. With Spring & Summer comes the best vegetables, fruits, and vegetables. In addition, the temperatures rising making cool drinks desirable.

Here are two recipes for summer or spring drinks. The first is a smoothie and the second recipe is Peppermint Iced Tea.

 

Strawberry, Banana, Mango Smoothie

Strawberry, Banana, Mango Smoothie

Yields 2-3 servings

Ingredients:

4 strawberries

1 banana

1 6oz Vanilla Yogurt (I used Tillamook Vanilla Yogurt)

1 mango, sliced. (to view how to cut a mango click here

4 ice cubes

Directions:

1. Cut the strawberry tops off and unpeel the banana.

2. Throw the strawberries, banana, yogurt, mango, and ice cubes into a blender and blend until all is blended.

3. Pour into a glass.

Enjoy!

 

Peppermint Iced Tea

This recipe is perfect for a hot day! Nothing is more refreshing than a cup of peppermint iced tea.

Peppermint Iced Tea

Ingredients:

4  bags of Peppermint Tea

4 cups boiling water

Ice

Directions:

1. Boil the 4 cups of water.

2. Remove the boiling water from heat and add the tea bags of peppermint.

3. Allow water to cool to room temperature.

4. Transfer Tea to a Pitcher

5. Place Pitcher in the Refrigerator and Refrigerate for 2 hours or until cold.

6. Serve over ice cubes.
