I have to thank blogger Fun Foods on a Budget for her pregnancy because she discovered how to make cookie dough without the eggs! I would never have thought about this. Now you can eat cookie dough without the fear of eating raw eggs.

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
1 cup flour
A pinch salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips


Start by mixing the brown sugar and the softened butter until the ingredients are smooth. Next, add in the vanilla extract and the milk. Add the flour and salt next and mix together creating the dough. Next, add the chocolate chips and mix until fully integrated. Serve on the spot or refrigerate.

Cook’s Note:

When I first made this, I didn’t exactly follow these directions and instead dumped everything in the bowl. When I was mixing it together I couldn’t understand why it was grainy and not sticky like dough is supposed to do. After looking back at my directions, I then realized that I forgot to add milk! Oops! The result was delicious and well worth the five minutes of assembly.
