Its incredibly simple and the prosciutto gives it a nice salty bite without the hassle of having to cook it like you would pancetta.<\/p>\n<p>Pea &amp; Prosciutto Pasta<a href=\"http:\/\/www.atthecounter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/0115121924.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-109\" title=\"0115121924\" src=\"http:\/\/www.atthecounter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/0115121924-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.atthecounter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/0115121924-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.atthecounter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/0115121924-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.atthecounter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/0115121924.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingrediants &amp; Supplies:<\/p>\n<p>1 lb Bowtie Pasta<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup frozen peas<\/p>\n<p>1 package prosciutto (usually yields 3oz)<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup heavy whipping cream*<\/p>\n<p>1 Tbsp butter<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<p>salt &amp; pepper<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)**<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>Pull out the peas from the freezer to defrost while you cook the pasta.<\/p>\n<p>Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Meanwhile on a cutting board dice the prosciutto. You may have to pull apart the prosciutto because it tends to stick to each other.<\/p>\n<p>Once the pasta is al dente drain and transfer back to its pot. Add the butter. Once the butter has melted add the whipping cream, peas, and prosciutto. Add\u00a0 a little salt and some pepper to taste. Add the garlic powder.
